Calvin Harris was recently spotted walking around Hollywood carrying an Aladdin-style rug, prompting speculation he and girlfriend Taylor Swift might be on the verge of shacking up together.

The Mirror reports the apparent home upgrades come on the heels of rumors the DJ was about to pop the question to the "Shake It Off" singer after less than a year of dating. They officially became a couple back in March, soon after mutual friend Ellie Goulding introduced them.

The 31-year-old Harris is reported to have recently gone engagement ring shopping at XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, where a $1.4 million ring is rumored to have instantly caught his eye.

"He said he wanted something 'very special' for Taylor," a source said. "He was asking about the best cuts and eyed a ring that was $1.4 million. He was clearly eager to get the perfect rock, no matter the cost."

Any happy news almost assuredly comes as a welcome reprieve for Swift, the recent target of a $42 million suit alleging that she plagiarized her smash hit "Shake It Off."

R&B singer Jesse Braham, known by the stage name Jesse Graham, charges Swift stole the lyrics for her song from his 2013 recording "Haters Gonna Hate."

"Her hook is the same hook as mine," he said, further alleging that Swift uses it about 72 times in her song. "If I didn't write the song 'Haters Gone Hate,' there wouldn't be a song called 'Shake It Off.'"

The 25-year-old Swift also faces a lawsuit filed by former Denver radio host David Mueller, alleging that he was fired from his job based on false charges he groped the "Bad Blood" singer.

Swift recently filed a counter-suit against Mueller, reaffirming that he was the one who groped her backstage during the 2013 incident.
