The controversial would-be Vogue cover featuring Kim K. and her rapper husband-to-be is seemingly causing a stir on Twitter. Among the many that seem to be appalled is Sarah Michelle Gellar who tweeted that she might be cancelling her Vogue subscription.

"Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???" the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress tweeted.

Anna Wintour, the fashion magazine's editor-in-chief did clarified the issue in the editor's letter portion of the magazine, says Us Weekly. Wintour, who was initially rumored to have been opposed to the couple making it to the fashion bible, said that Kanye West did not beg for him and fiancé Kim to be on the cover.

"As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancee on Vogue's cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true," she explained in the letter.

The 64-year-old editor-in-chief also wrote, "Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it. I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)"

Though Sarah Michelle Gellar is clearly opposed to the reality stars being on the cover, some Twitter users actually don't mind seeing Kim and Kanye on the fashion magazine.
