A new trailer has been released for the horror film "Nina Forever."

According to Deadline, the film premiered at SXSW, where it was met with praise from critics and audiences. It has been dubbed "a fairy tale for horror fans." The film is not quite a jump-out-of-your-seat type scary thriller, but uses a more disturbing type of terror.

The story follows a girl named Holly (Abigail Hardingham), who seeks out a relationship with a male coworker. She is particularly drawn to his dark nature, brought on by his grief for his girlfriend, whom he recently lost to a motorcycle accident.

The man had even recently attempted suicide, drawing Holly to him. She says in the trailer that she wants a man who would be willing to kill himself after her own death. Her pursuit is successful, but once the two start sleeping together, something even more horrific happens in bed.

As it turns out, the man's ex-girlfriend joins them through bloody twists and turns in the sheets every time they are in bed together. It is her mutilated carcass that appears, not a a ghost or apparition.

Perhaps the most disturbing part of those scenes is not the bloody and mutilated woman's corpse, but rather Holly. She does not run in terror, but instead stays, almost as if she is intrigued or attracted to the situation.

As the story progresses, Holly must face several obstacles, as she shares her bed with a corpse every night. The film takes several morbid turns and becomes downright disturbing by the end.
