Fans of "The Walking Dead" have been all up in arms about the fate of the character Glenn when he was last seen in a controversial position, appearing to be eaten alive by Walkers. But now, he is about make his way back to the show after a hiatus.

According to Comic Book, who spoke with actor Ross Marquand (Aaron), fans are about to get the answers they have been waiting several weeks for. Is Glenn alive or a dead?

Although the last episode did feature Maggie and Aaron making a vague attempt to go out and find Glenn, their efforts were halted when they reached the end of a sewer tunnel that could not get them safely out of Alexandria and away from the Walker horde.

They turned around and went back to the safe zone and in those final moments, they were seen wiping Glenn's name off the wall. This of course led fans to believe that hope for Glenn's survival has now gone from little to none.

In the past, it was Maggie who would stop at nothing to run out and hunt down her man with nothing but her love for him to guide her. But now, Maggie is pregnant and what legacy Glenn has left resides inside of her. In the end, she decided she just couldn't risk that last part of him dying.

So now Aaron is the one she seeks solace with. For fans that do not know, Aaron is a gay man on the show and he is involved with another man. So there is no chance of Maggie replacing Glenn with him.

Speaking to Comic Book, Marquand had a few things to say about the situation.

"They want to believe that these two people [Glenn and Nicholas] are very much still out there and they're not gonna just give up because the general theory is that they've past," Marquand said.

He also added that the answer is "Right around the corner," when asked about Glenn's fate. "The showrunner and the writers are not planning on keeping the audience in suspense the entire season."
