Rebel Wilson, Kardashians Feud Heating Up? 'Pitch Perfect' Star Says Family Started 'Smear Campaign' Against Her
"Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson is not the kind of lady who backs down, but surely she knows which battles should be fought.
In the wake of her hotly publicized diss against "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" stars Kylie and Kendall Jenner as well as the rest of the K siblings, People reports that Wilson has again spoken regarding the scuffle. Taking her emotions onto Twitter, the 35-year-old showed that she is not afraid of the Kardashian clan.
"I'd be very happy to debate the Kardashians anywhere / anytime / any topic," she said in a tweet on Wednesday. "Or maybe their publicist can just stop the smear campaign against me because I made one prompted comment about them an Australian radio?"
As previously reported by Latin Post, the Australian actress threw a straight jab at the "America's First Family" siblings and said on a radio interview that she does not want to share the stage with them because they are "superficial."
During her interview with KIIS FM's "Kyle and Jackie O. Show," the "Bridesmaid" star said that she would have to decline doing a project if the Jenner sisters will do it with her. She revealed that she was asked to do a stint at the VMAs along with Caitlyn Jenner's daughters, but she refused because sisters' belief is something that's against hers.
"I was asked to present at the latest VMAs with Kendall and Kylie and said no," the plump blonde said. "They're famous for no talent. I said I'd do it myself. What they stand for is totally against what I stand for."
She added that the family's careers "are not really based on talent," citing Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape as one of the reasons that catapulted the family to fame. "I know they're super popular, but I'm all about personality and working hard to get to where I am."
Amid the potshot, queen of talk show Oprah Winfrey came to the defense of the famous family and commended them, going on to say that "people don't understand them."
But despite the tough façade that Wilson showed in her tweet, she also expressed that enough is enough for her as she thinks the brawl isn't worth the fight.
"In any event, I'm MORE than over this little thing and wish the K clan well X even sent them flowers," Wilson followed to tweet.
While Wilson has already waved the white flag and gave a peace offering, still, the Kardashians have kept mum regarding the issue.
