On top of the drama in her home and love life, Jane will deal with an unsympathetic teacher who is insensitive to her circumstances after she enrolls in graduate school in the next episode of "Jane the Virgin."

In last week's episode, Jane finally realized that she rather be with her ex-fiancé Michael instead of Rafael, the father of her son, reports the Los Angeles Times. However, she neglected to reveal her decision to either one of them so that neither man would be upset.

In addition, Jane's father, Rogelio, confronted Britney Spears about the big falling-out they had several years ago. Meanwhile, Michael was fired from his job for breaking into his chief's office. Things got even worse when the unemployed and heartbroken detective ran into Nadine (Azie Tesfai), who was armed with a gun in a parking lot.

A trailer video for Monday's episode, "Chapter Twenty-Eight," shows Nadine using her weapon to force Michael to drive her somewhere. The synopsis also reveals that Jane will return to graduate school, where she will face a difficult professor. In addition, the new mother will worry about her baby's father, Rafael, and fear that will get the wrong idea when she asks his help regarding Mateo's estate planning.

According to WWLP, the synopsis reads as follows:

"Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) begin estate planning for Mateo, but when Jane realizes that Mateo will inherit millions, she worries he will become spoiled. Jane is also finally starting graduate school, but her professor (guest star Adam Rodriguez) is not sympathetic to her situation. Rogelio's (Jaime Camil) famous show is ending, so he decides to create his own show, with Xo's (Andrea Navedo) encouragement. Petra (Yael Grobglas) is shocked to learn what she is having and turns to Jane for advice and help in getting her mother out of prison. Meanwhile, after Michael's (Brett Dier) issues at work, he has decided to go rogue and is even more determined to catch Sin Rostro."

Executive producer Jennie Urman also teased an upcoming twist in Jane's love life. In addition to being tangled in a love triangle with Michael and Rafael, Jane will consider dating a potential new love interest.

"There's going to be a point this season where Jane is exploring dating, and it's not Rafael or Michael," said the showrunner, according to TVLine. "There will be other choices." She added that new women may also catch Michael and Rafael's attention.

Season 2, Episode 6 of "Jane the Virgin" will premiere on Monday, Nov. 16 on The CW.
