Two new free games for Xbox Live Gold members are available starting Monday. This is part of Microsoft's monthly games with Gold offering.

As part of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for November 2015, Xbox 360 owners can get their free copy of "Dungeon Siege III," Gamespot reported. Priced regularly for $19.99, the action-roleplaying video game is available for free until Nov. 30.

"Dungeon Siege III," developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Square Enix, combines a deep story, an intuitive action gameplay, a strong RPG system, a wide-ranging multiplayer features, according to the game's summary posted on Metacritic. "Dungeon Siege III" received a 72 Metacritic score and 6.0 User Score.

Furthermore, this free Xbox 360 game is also one of the first titles to be playable on Microsoft's latest console, the Xbox One. This is made possible through the release of Xbox One Backward Compatibility, which is, according to the official post on Major Nelson, a new Microsoft offering that was just rolled out last week.

With this backwards compatibility feature for the Xbox One console, gamers can easily go for multiplayer options and play with friends regardless of the console they are using. Players can now enjoy Xbox 360 titles while on Xbox One and use the advanced features available in the console. Some of these features are Screenshots, Game DVR ad in-home streaming using Windows 10.

Due to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature, XB1 owners can also take advantage of the two new free games starting this month. Aside from the "Dungeon Siege III," owners of the latest console with Xbox Live Gold subscription are also entitled to their free copy of "Knight Squad."

The official product listing on the Xbox Store described "Knight Squad" as "an insane one to eight players chaotic arena friendship destroyer." The official website of the game further described it as a "Bomberman meets Gauntlet" kind of game.

"Knight Squad" features different fun game modes such as Last Man Standing and Medieval soccer. Players can enjoy laser guns, miniguns as well as weapons from the middle age.

Other free games for November 2015 made available for Xbox Live Gold Members were "The Walking Dead: Season One" for the Xbox One and "Dirt 3" for Xbox 360 both usually priced at $25 each. These two games was free to download only from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15.
