Fifth Harmony Discuss Paris Attacks, Call Them 'Wake-Up Call for Humanity'
Fifth Harmony spoke about the attacks in Paris in a recent interview and shared their love for the city, which was a part of their European tour.
In a new video interview with Billboard, the pop group, who performed in Paris just a few days before the attacks, shared their sadness over the attacks that took the lives of over 100 people and shocked the world on Friday.
Ally Brooke Hernandez held back tears as she explained that Paris means a lot for her. She said the city makes her happy, reminding her of love, hope and faith.
"It really just saddens me what happened in Paris because we met a lot of people over there and good people. It was ironic because the city to me was just so happy and filled with hope. And then the attacks happened and that was something really hard to deal with and hard to think about," she said.
Hernandez and Camila Cabello shared photos from their tour stop in the city on their social media accounts. For Hernandez the visit was a dream come true.
"Can't believe this is real after merely DREAMING of this since I was a little girl. My wish to come to Paris and see the Eiffel tower...I can now check it off of my bucket list. I did it! I actually did it!" she captioned a photo of herself in front of the Eiffel Tower.

For Normani Kordei, the events in Paris were a shock, proving that the world still has a long way to go when it comes to peace and acceptance.
"It's just really a wake-up call to humanity in general that we just need to do better," she said. "We're supposed to be harmonious and we're supposed to spread love, but that's just not what we're giving. I just think we could do so much better."
