Brace yourselves for the good news -- the popular TV series 24 will have another come back this May 2014. What makes it even more exciting is the storied return of Kiefer Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer. The new installment is entitled 24: Live Another Day and the series will have a 12-episode season with some characters resurfacing, as well as several new personalities included in the cast.

The new series is set to hit television sets on Monday, May 5 at 8 p.m. and 24: Live Another Day will have a 2-hour premiere broken down across the span of two days. May 5 is the first premiere night, while the second premiere night will be the following Monday, May 12 at 9 p.m. Fox also announced that the premiere will also serve as a reunion for the winning team of Howard Gordon, executive producer; Kiefer Sutherland, star and executive producer; Robert Cochran, co-creator; Manny Coto, Evan Katz, Brian Grazer and David Fury, executive producers; and Jon Cassar, executive producer and director. All won Emmys for the series.

The setting of 24: Live Another Day is London, and will feature the exciting adventures of the heroic agent Jack Bauer. The story will center on Jack's mission to stop an impossible terrorist attack that aims to change the world permanently. The series promises to have the same actual time, nerve-racking, tense and fast-moving pattern of the previous season episodes featuring interlocking storylines and split screens.
