After the release of the PC version last month just in time for the Halloween, "The Park" is coming to PS4 and Xbox One soon. A release date window has recently been announced.

According to a post on PlayStation Lifestyle, Funcom's "The Park" for PS4 and Xbox One is slated for a vague Q1 2016 release date. In addition to the release schedule, game developer of "The Secret World" also revealed that the console versions will have a digital-only launch.

According to the game's description posted on Steam, "The Park," a first-person psychological horror game is set in a spooky amusement park which hides a "dark and sinister secret." Watch the launch trailer for the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One game, "The Park," posted by Funcom on their Youtube account.

According to Funcom CEO, Rui Casais, the positive reactions for the Windows PC version has inspired them to create the PS4 and Xbox One versions of "The Park."

In the game, players will explore the Atlantic Island Park, and step onto various rides such as the Rollercoaster, Bumper Cars and the Ferris Wheel. However, players need to be careful as "some of them have a life of their own," the official site for "The Park" explained.

In "The Park," gamers will step into the shoes of Lorraine, a young widowed mother who brought and lost his son Callum to the Atlantic Island Park. In the search for Callum, players must explore the park, and as the game progresses, they will slowly discover the dark and tragic history behind it.

Furthermore, by calling out to Callum, "The Park" players can use his distant responses to help you head towards the right direction as you examine clues and listen to Lorraine's inner voice as well.

The horror game also features high-quality graphics and audio to "deliver a uniquely atmospheric setting rich in mood and mystery, developed by a team of award-winning AAA developers,' the official site described.

The Eurogamer's review for the game noted that "The Park" is a "thin and curiously paced stroll through horror cliché that manages a few good frights but not much else."

"The Park" is going to be Funcom's first console release in almost a decade, PlayStation Lifestyle noted. It focuses "on intense storytelling and exploration instead of combat and action." Game developer also shared that it will require one to two hours to finish this single-player psychological horror experience.
