Charlie Sheen Spent Over $1M on Hookers in One Year After HIV Diagnosis?
Charlie Sheen is reported to have spent at least $1.6 million on sex workers in a single year after he had been diagnosed as HIV positive.
Radar Online reports financial records scrutinized by the website reveal in 2013, some two years after he had been made aware of his deadly illness, the former "Wall Street" star spent $1,629, 507 on hookers.
"The item was listed as 'Friendly Entertainment,' which was Charlie's shorthand for sex workers," a source said. The website adds the documented expenditure makes no mention of how many people that entailed or whether he made them aware of his HIV status.
That same year Sheen is reported to have paid out $497,000 in support to ex-wife Brooke Mueller for the twin 6-year-olds they share, as well as $550,000 for the two daughters he has with ex Denise Richards.
Besides also supporting various AIDs-related charities during that same time, Sheen also admittedly paid out hundreds of thousands to prevent word of his illness from leaking out.
That all came to an end on Monday, when word of his diagnosis leaked and Sheen appeared within hours alongside Matt Lauer on the "Today" show to confirm his condition.
Since then, Sheen has steadfastly claimed he always warned sexual partners of his disease. He insisted it's "impossible" that he's infected anyone.
On Tuesday, ex-girlfriend Bree Olson told Howard Stern the former "Two and a Half Man" star and once highest paid actor on TV used lambskin condoms while sleeping with her, but she still feared she had been infected prior to a recent test, which proved negative.
Reps for Sheen later insisted he was only diagnosed after his relationship with Olson had ended. However, a source at the LA County DA's Office revealed Sheen may still face a criminal investigation related to his reckless behavior.
