Norman Reedus has joined the list of people who want to see Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro collaborate on a film.

The actor, who was slated to appear in the now-cancelled "Silent Hills," recently spoke about the prospect of seeing the legendary video game creator and Mexican filmmaker join forces at some point in the future.

"I'm super bummed that that happened back in Japan," Reedus stated about the cancellation of "Silent Hills" according to IGN. "But I have faith. I have faith that we, the three of us, can do something else."

The actor added, "I have faith that we're going to do something though because it just seems like it was one of those things that needs to happen. It's like destiny, it needs to happen."

Del Toro has been vocal about wanting to work with the former Konami magnate. There are many who wonder whether a "Metal Gear Solid" movie might be in the mix for the two, though it is unlikely, given del Toro's cinematic output. "Silent Hills" was a perfect project for the two, as it allowed the Mexican auteur to showcase his love of horror and the major theme that runs through his best films: Humans are the true monsters.

There is a chance that the two could work together on a video game, as del Toro is known for working on many different kinds of projects.

Kojima is best known for his work on the Metal Gear Solid franchise. He also worked on Snatcher and Policenauts, and he was also heavily involved in such games as Zone of Enders, Boktai and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

Del Toro's most well-known film is "Pan's Labryinth," but he also directed cult classics, such as "Pacific Rim" and the "Hellboy" films. Other major works include "The Devil's Backbone" and his recent film "Crimson Peak."
