Tamar Braxton Health Update: Leaves Hospital After Health Scare
Tamar Braxton back from being hospitalized last week and is healthier than ever. Braxton not only left the hospital, but she also had a surprise appearance in her hit talk show "The Real" on Thursday.
Catching up with her co-hosts on "The Real," Braxton revealed how happy she was to be finally out of the hospital. "I mean, I'm just so elated. And I just feel so blessed to come out of the hospital," she said on the show as quoted by E! News.
"Because, you know, the realization is that, you know, a lot of people don't come out of the hospital with, you know, multiple PEs [Pulmonary Embolism] like I had. And you know I just feel really blessed beyond measure," Braxton revealed further.
Braxton's release from the hospital came after news broke that the famed host and "Dancing with the Stars" season 21 contestant had to quit being the competition following her surprise health scare, Us Weekly reported.
So Braxton and her pro dancer partner Val Chmerkovskiy both had to quit to make way for Braxton's hospitalization and recovery since she had blood clots in her lungs.
"With a Heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of#dwts has to come to an end along with the rest of my tour dates with@musicbykem," Braxton previously wrote on Instagram while posting a photo showing her on a hospital bed.
"As you all know I will be the first to always encourage anyone to push through any obstacle that comes along one's way. But in this case, my health is my current obstacle," she added. However, despite the 38-year-old singer's exit, she remains to be grateful for the support of her family, friends and fans. #so blessed thank you all for your prayers I love you all so much!" she wrote on Instagram.
E! News revealed that Braxton was with her husband Vincent Herbert when she was initially released from the hospital on Tuesday. "Thank you to the fans, to my baby, to my husband, and to my mama," Braxton shared on the show as quoted by E! News. "I mean, you know, honestly, God is so good, honestly." The host also posted a video of herself while on her way out of the hospital on a wheelchair writing the caption, Look at GOD!!
Meanwhile, TheyBF reports that Braxton is just currently "laid up" at home resting as she continues to recover.
