The next episode of "Grimm" will be interesting and intense as Nick (David Giuntoli) will get caught in the crossfire of a deadly ancient tradition that aims to seek revenge.

The synopsis for the Friday's all-new episode, which is titled "Maiden's Quest," reveals that Nick and his partner Hank (Russell Hornsby) will take on a new case involving a wealthy mobster who is in search for a husband for his only daughter. However, the father's quest to give his daughter the best possible husband will turn bloody.

In the trailer video, three men competing for the crook's daughter's hand in marriage are sent on a hunt for blood in order to prove their worth. They are also competing for the mobster's entire fortune, which is just further motivation for them to play dirty to succeed.

Eventually, Nick and Hank will catch wind of the case after they learn about a growing number of casualties taking place in Portland. However, Nick and Hank will come to realize that they are up against deadly assassins, and that they could easily become their next victims.

According to CarterMatt, the synopsis for Friday night's episode reads as follows:

"A wealthy mobster sets three young men on a quest to win his daughter Elena's (guest star Madeline Zima) hand in marriage and earn his fortune. As they work toward accomplishing their task, bodies start to pile up and Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are on the case. Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Nick try to adjust to home life but a surprise visitor shakes things up."

"Grimm" Season 5 Episode 3, "Maiden's Quest," premieres on Friday, Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
