Just days after he announced his much-discussed divorce from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, it has been reported that Chris Martin has been developing a quite friendly relationship with Alexa Chung for a while.

The Coldplay frontman allegedly enjoyed a late-night milkshake with the British fashionista at the U.K. Glastonbury music festival back in last June, and Jessica Goldsack, who served the pair, recently revealed their rendezvous.

"They turned up together at around 3 or 4 a.m. and came over to where I was working at Shaken Udder and said to me and my friend, 'what do you recommend?'" she said. "They looked like they were just chilling and having a good time. I did find it a little odd that they were together -- but we had a little chat and they wandered off after they asked us if we knew of any good places to go and have a few drinks."

Goldsack then asked the couple to take pictures with her, each posing separately with her. She took to her Instagram account to post the two snapshots, calling them "both so lovely." "They were having a laugh together, but it didn't seem that anything was going on," she added.

Another source mentioned Martin and Chung together: "If we were to play a preliminary game of replacements, who would you suggest for Gwyneth? (After the appropriate mourning period, obviously.) Let's get into that tomorrow. For Chris though... I'm thinking... Alexa Chung?"

Meanwhile, New York socialite Lauren Santo Domingo, one of Chung's close friends, tweeted shortly after news of the "Viva la Vida" singer's split broke out on Tuesday. "Chris Martin is eating a bacon cheeseburger right now," she wrote. "With fries."
