Chris Brown wants everyone to know he has never been happier, even with drop dead gorgeous ex-girlfriends Karrueche Tran and Rihanna no longer in his life.

The "Loyal" singer recently took to Instagram to proclaim his newfound contentment.

He posted, "It is a simple yet profound truth: happiness is a choice. You don't have to wait for everything to be perfect in your family or with your business. You don't have to forgo happiness until you lose weight, break an unhealthy habit, or accomplish all your goals. Happiness is your choice."

In a tweet that has since been deleted, Brown also posted earlier this month that he is now looking for a soul-mate and hinted that he may even be ready to settle down.

Brown and Tran split earlier this year, after it was revealed he had fathered a child with another woman behind her back. Tran instantly blasted news of his changing ways as "hypocrisy."

Still, many have speculated Brown's new "Sorry" hit with Rick Ross is meant as a dedication to Tran and the way things ended between them. Brown's new album "Royalty," named after his year-old daughter, is set to hit stores on Nov. 27.

Brown and Rihanna have endured several starts and stops in their relationship. They infamously split in 2008 after Brown became physical with the "Diamonds" singer, leading to him being sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service.

Rihanna recently admitted she still hasn't ruled out the possibility of again making up with Brown, adding that she's convinced he has matured to the point where he would now treat her better.

"Rihanna hasn't shut the door on Chris," a source said. "He's the love of her life and she especially loves that he's maturing and has become a loving father. Only time will tell if they're meant to be, but she knows he'd treat her right this time around. She can feel it and they've talked about it."
