The release date of the HTC One A9 in India is now rumored to be set this week.

According to PC-Tablet's report, HTC recently sent out media invites for a launch event happening in New Delhi. The event, set for Wednesday, Nov. 25, did not mention a clue about the products that will be featured.

Mysteriously, the invite read, "You are invited_______25.11.2015," the post cited.

Though the question about which specific product takes the spotlight at the event, speculations are pointing that it will be the HTC One A9. To support the rumors, the PC Tablet report noted that invites had the same backdrop used for the HTC One A9 when it was unveiled on Oct. 20 in the UK, China and the United States.

The HTC One A9 was described by Cher Wang, the chairperson and co-founder of HTC Corporation, as the "Hero Smartphone."

As for the smartphone's specs, the Moto G 2015, regarded as a mid-end smartphone, comes pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow update -- bringing in new features such as Now on Tap, Android Pay, Android Doze and more. Under the hood, the HTC handset sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset.

For the CPU, GSM Arena cited that it is packed with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processors. Users will find Adreno 405 for the GPU, on the other hand.

The device has a 5-inch display multitouch display with AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The screen resolution comes at 1080 x 1920 pixels, with a density of 441 ppi. The display screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Users can choose from two variants, the 16 GB version with 2 GB of RAM and the 32 GB HTC One A9 which is paired with 3 GB RAM. Memory can be expanded via a microSD card with up to 200 GB.

The primary camera is equipped with 13-MP lens sensor which can produce high-resolution images, up to 4128 x 3096 pixels. HTC One A9's secondary camera, meanwhile, is equipped with 5-MP lens.

The HTC One A9 also features a fingerprint sensor which is located in the home button. It has a 2150 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 2.0.
