"Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift takes the term "squad" very seriously, to the point that she is willing to protect her BFFs against any unwanted heartbreak.

In the wake of Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez dominating headlines due to their blooming romances with Zayn Malik and Justin Bieber, it's safe to say that Swift is not the one who's super thrilled about her girlfriends' new ventures.

According to a HollywoodLife source, Swift is scared for Hadid when she knew about the dating rumors involving the former One Direction member and told the model that she have to be "careful" of the young lad because she feels that their romance is something that won't end so well.

The source said that Swift knew about the budding romance first-hand since Hadid told it personally, adding that the 20-year-old model said it "super casual." But unlike any other girlfriends, TayTay was reportedly apprehensive of the news and advised Hadid to just "take things slow and not rush into anything too intense."

"She doesn't want to see [Gigi] end up with a broken heart," the source added.

The singer also reminded her model friend of how Malik ended up things with his former fiancée, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, as he reportedly called their two-year engagement quits, which left her entirely crushed.

Plus, the singer also couldn't contain the idea that her BFF is dating her boyfriend's previous foe as Malik and Calvin Harris had a rough scuffle before.

The same goes for the "Same Old Love" singer. Swift was reportedly not a Jelena fan according to another Hollywood Life report and more so, she even wished that Gomez won't make the same mistake for taking back the "Sorry" singer.

"Taylor doesn't like Justin, that is not a newsflash at all, but she knows that she can't mother Selena forever," the tipster revealed. "Taylor learned the hard way about relationships by going through bad ones and now she is happy with Calvin [Harris]."

Furthermore, the tipster added that Swift wishes that Gomez and Bieber's reconciliation is just something that will pass by eventually since she knew that she can't do anything about it even if she gave her tons of advice. The girlfriend of the Scottish DJ reportedly gave too many efforts just so Gomez learn from her mistakes but her attempts have "obviously failed."

"Taylor can only look from afar and hope Selena opens her eyes and realizes she is way better without him than with him," the source added.
