The LG V10 was recently released and reviews about the phone are continuously emerging online. Though first impressions noted its resemblance to the LG G4, recent LG V10 reviews cited reasons why it is not a clone of the flagship device.

For instance, Timi Cantisano from Neowin posted his LG V10 review noting its differences from the LG G4. Though there may be similarities in LG V10's and LG G4's, the two smartphones are very different, especially when users are able to get it into their hands.

According to the Neowin review, the LGV10, which uses a stainless steel frame and a silicone back with unique texture, "offers a nice weight and solid construction." Furthermore, "Those with smaller hands will appreciate the use of silicone, as it allows for better grip on the fairly tall handset," the LG V10 review from Cantisano further noted.

Moreover, Phones Review noted the essential specs of the LG V10. Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. It also comes with 64 GB of internal storage and can be expanded using a microSD card.

Meanwhile, the primary camera for the LG V10 has 16MP lens sensor with features such as laser autofocus, LED flash and optical image stabilization. The secondary cam, on the other hand, has a 5MP dual camera system.

The phone's display specs are also different from the usual smartphones available in the market today. The LG V10, basically, has two screens.

The primary display, a 5.7-inch screen, offers a 2560 x 1440 Quad HD resolution. With its display size, it can compete against smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, the Huawei's Nexus 6P and the Moto X Pure/Style.

Meanwhile, its secondary display size is 2.1 inches and, according to Android Pit, it is "designed to provide the information you need when the main display is off" and give you a chance to personalize the smartphone. Additional function of the second display is to offer users a quick access to their favorite mobile applications.

The secondary display in LG V10 offers a similar idea to that of the displays present in Blackberry Priv and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Android Pit further noted.
