Embattled Toronto city mayor Rob Ford continues to face considerable pressure after a video surfaced recently that reportedly shows definitive proof of the mayor smoking crack cocaine. Now, police have confirmed that they know the location of the alleged crack house.

The story of Ford's improprieties broke a couple weeks ago, after individuals associated with Toronto's drug trade claimed they had the supposed video in their possession. Gawker's John Cook flew out to Toronto to view the alleged tape's contents:

"Here is what the video shows: Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto, is the only person visible in the frame. Prior to the trip, I spent a lot of time looking at photographs of Rob Ford. The man in the video is Rob Ford. It is well-lit, clear. Ford is seated, in a room in a house. In one hand is a a clear, glass pipe. The kind with a big globe and two glass cylinders sticking out of it. In the other hand is a lighter."

Now, what is uncertain is what type of drug the glass pipe contained. Glass pipes are also commonly used to smoke marijuana and certain other less common drugs. Though marijuana is still illegal, Toronto has a much more relaxed attitude to the substance and Ford's use of it would not be nearly so damning.

So far Ford has denied any wrongdoing during the investigation, including distancing himself from claims that he frequented a local crack house at 15 Windsor Rd. A photo of Ford with several men outside of that house has surfaced recently, but his attorney has maintained that the photo was purely circumstantial.

"Say somebody says 'here, take a picture' and it's in front of a certain location. You have no idea that location may be involved in something illegal or improper, allegedly, that type of thing," attorney Dennis Morris said. "You as an innocent party have a photo taken. So where does that put you? It puts you as an innocent party."

One of the men in that photo, Anthony Smith, 21, was recently killed in downtown Toronto in what is rumored to be either a gang or drug-related shooting. That suspicious killing only adds fuel to the fire when questioning whom Ford has been associating with.

The house in question is occupied by Mario, Fabio and Elena Bosso, and is owned by their mother. The Bosso siblings are longtime friends of Ford's, having all attended the same high school. When reached for comment, one of the siblings evaded the topic entirely.

"Rob Ford is the greatest mayor ever," Elena Basso told reporters from the Toronto Star. "You guys are scavengers. You come back to my house, I'll call the police."
