If it's any indication that another "Final Fantasy" in the works is coming, then the latest rating released by the Pan European Game Information can be considered a teaser.

On their website, PEGI classified the "Final Fantasy VI" as suitable for 12 years and above. They also tagged the game as "non-realistic violence towards the human race." However, the rating indicates Nov. 25, 2015 as the release date. Whether they meant it for the game or the review, it's hard to conclude as there is no evident confirmation of the "Final Fantasy VI" game being created for PC, least of all released in such a short period of time.

In a previous report by IGN, they confirmed Square Enix's announcement of the "Final Fantasy VII" remake and that the company is currently working on its development. Although there are no details on what specific platforms it will land, Sony Entertainment is able to confirm that the newly developed "Final Fantasy VI" will first come to PlayStation 4.

In June this year, during the E3 2015 conference, PlayStation 4 series director Tetsuya Nomura indicated his interest in remaking "Final Fantasy V" and "Final Fantasy VI." In his statement featured on IGN, he said that the obvious absence of "Final Fantasy V and VI" bothered him and even questioned the fact that they were skipped. As for the remake of "Final Fantasy VII," he also added, "It won't be a single remake. I don't think it would exceed the original version."

Nomura also encouraged fans to follow through with the "Final Fantasy VII" development. In his statement, he said that they are currently progressing on the remake despite not being able to release any screenshots at the moment.

Super Famicom first introduced "Final Fantasy VI" in Japan on April 2, 1994. Its release in North America for Super Nintendo has changed its name to "Final Fantasy III." After its release, some of the game's famous characters made it to different platforms, but not the actual game. In fact, Terra, Sabin and Kefka from "Final Fantasy VI" are now heading to iOS devices. Square Enix has not made an official announcement about an upcoming "Final Fantasy VI" for PC, but the idea to develop it for the platform has been there all along.
