A playable demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has been released, months before the official release date of the game. Reports are also suggesting that the game will also have PS3 compatibility.

A fresh report from Geek Snack noted that the playable demo for the upcoming Naruto Shippuden's video game has been released. Accordingly, it is now live on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

Gamers with free Japanese PlayStation Network account can access the playable demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Featuring an intense boss battle, the demo size is only 759 MB.

Furthermore, Geek Snack shared that the playable demo will showcase a battle between Madara and Harashimara.

A trailer for the upcoming Naruto game has been released by Bandai Namco Entertainment, which as described on Forbes, shows Kakashi, Itachi, Obito and Shisui facing off. Watch it below: 

 

Moreover, the Forbes' report also shared that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be the last in this game series being developed by CyberConnect 2.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is currently in development for PC as well as the latest game consoles, Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PS4. Official release date in Japan is set for Feb. 5, 2016.

Meanwhile, US gamers will be able to enjoy the upcoming game starting Feb. 9. The game is currently available for pre-order via PlayStation Network in Europe and game file is 28 GB heavy.

Though the game is only expected to be compatible with PC, PS4 and Xbox One, a report from Attack on the Fanboy shared that at the bottom of the listing on PlayStation Network in Europe, it read, "Compatible with PlayStation 3."

It is not known yet known if this is just a mistake or saved data from older Naruto video games can be carried over similar to the case of J-Stars Victory VS where players can transfer PS3 data over to the PS4 version, as explained on the Attack on the Fanboy's report.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the sixth installment for the series and the first title to bemade available for the latest generation of game consoles, PS4 and Xbox One. Based on the hit manga, "Naruto," which is created by Masashi Kishimoto, the PS4 version of the fighting video game is published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
