Fifth Harmony, One Direction Collaboration to Come?
Several recent reports indicate a collaboration between British pop band One Direction and American girl group Fifth Harmony.
Both of the groups are alums of the Simon Cowell-created show "The X Factor," which has had both British and American versions.
According to The Inquisitr, with Fifth Harmony working on their second album and currently looking for more possible song collaborations, the chances of One Direction making an appearance on a new track seem very high.
The rumors have not been confirmed by either of the groups, but with recent developments, such a move would not be far fetched. Meghan Trainor is once again working with Fifth Harmony on their new album, and Camila Cabello recently produced a duet with Shawn Mendes, which proved to be a success.
According to Just Jared, both Fifth Harmony and One Direction took the stage at the 2015 Premios Telehit at the Foro Sol stadium on Nov. 26 in Mexico City.
Fifth Harmony, who were short one member after a family death kept Normani Kordei home, performed some of their biggest hits for the excited crowd, including "Worth It", "Sledgehammer" and "I'm In Love With A Monster".
The group announced the unfortunate news of Kordei's absence on Twitter, and Kordei showed her support for her group members.
One Direction, who themselves lost a member earlier this year when Zayn Malik departed from the band, performed their latest hit "Made in the A.M.," as well as "Drag Me Down" and "Little Things."
The groups were previously spotted sitting next to each other at the 2015 American Music Awards, a moment that was documented on Instagram.
On Nov. 2, both groups were photographed enjoying some down time at a club in London while Fifth Harmony was on their European tour, reported Hollywood Life.
While sightings of the groups' meetings may just be coincidental, Ally Brooke Hernandez's recent interview with MTV added fuel to the rumors, when she refused to reveal Fifth Harmony's upcoming plans.
