Months before the official release date for Mighty No. 9, Deep Silver launches a new trailer showcasing new game modes and other interesting details about the game. Fans should also look forward to more news about the game come the PlayStation Experience 2015.

The official US PlayStation blog detailed the different game modes to be featured on Mighty No. 9. According to the post, players will enjoy Boss Rush mode in which players will be able to challenge the Mighty bosses back-to-back.

Another game mode coming in Mighty No. 9 is the Challenge Mode which will make the players go through unique challenge levels that are specifically created to test their 2D side-scrolling skills. Maniac Mode is also available in Mighty No. 9, an "insanely hard one-hit death" challenge for the game, as described on the post.

The game will also feature the two-player online Co-op Challenge mode where players will take the role of Beck and Call who should take advantage of their skills and abilities to conquest the enemies and complete the levels.

Users can also fight online using the Online Race Battle mode where players can "battle it out online in a race through the main levels battling your opponent to get the highest score," the US PlayStation blog further noted.

Those who can't wait for the arrival of Mighty No. 9 can attend the PlayStation Experience happening this weekend. Reportedly, the game creator, Inafune-San, will be at the event in support for Mighty No. 9.

Mighty No. 9 is an action-platform video game developed by Comcept The game will be available for Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Mac, Linux, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS come its official release date set for Feb. 9, 2016. It is a Kickstarter-funded game with its original goal of $900,000 but as of this writing, pledges have already amounted to $3,845,170.

The highest pledge amount to give is $10,000 which entitles the backer to a dinner with creator Keiji Inafune in Tokyo. A limited offer, only five our of nine slots are available for this pledge.

As described on its official Kickstarter site, the game is an "all-new Japanese side-scrolling action game that takes the best aspects of the 8- and 16-bit era classics" gamers know. The game "transforms them with modern tech, fresh mechanics, and fan input into something fresh and amazing!" the page further described.
