Rick Ross Sides With Meek Mill in Drake Feud
Rick Ross is taking sides in the ongoing rap battle between Drake and Meek Mill with the recent release of his album "Black Market."
IBTimes reports the ever boastful Ross raps, "Color money got your b---- out on a world tour/ My lil' homie made a million on his girl's tour/ We back to back and down to wack a n---- unborn/ Miami n----- got 'em changin' all they gun laws/ So run Forrest, got some shooters and they down, too/ I got more money then that p---- that you signed to."
With direct mention mention of Drake's "Back to Back" track by name, many consider the lyrics to be a flat-out attack. Drake has previously blistered Meek in one of his songs for making a profit off girlfriend Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint Tour."
Drake and Mill have been publicly feuding since late July, when the "All Eyes on You" rapper took to Twitter and told people not to compare him with Drake because the Canadian-born lyricists doesn't write his own rap material.
Drake quickly responded by blasting his rival in the diss songs "Charged Up" and "Back to Back," while Mill retaliated with "Wanna Know."
Later, Drake upped the ante in the simmering battle by teaming with Future on the mixtape hit "What a Time to Be Alive," in which he seemingly takes shots at both Minaj and her boyfriend.
Word is Drake has previously confessed his love for the 32-year-old "Anaconda" singer, who has now been openly dating Meek for several months and was once rumored to be carrying his child.
While Ross has sided with Mill, fellow MMG member Wale recently admitted he felt Drake had bested Meek in their head-to-head battle.
