Jennifer Lopez Rumored to Perform at Super Bowl, Twitter Reacts [Watch]
Music superstar and actress Jennifer Lopez is currently rumored to be set to perform at Superbowl 50.
According to Bustle, the rumor of the Puerto Rican star's performance broke out on social media when a video was tweeted that showed the 2016 Superbowl trophy with what appeared to be Lopez in the background noise.
While the tweet has since been deleted, it was online just long enough for the Internet to react to the news of the Latina entrepreneur possibly taking the stage.
Some reactions were just plain hilarious, positive and completely supportive of Lopez taking on the challenge.

Others were not so agreeable and instead downplayed the pop singer's career and status in music.

On Nov. 30, a Super Bowl halftime show advertisement surfaced on YouTube, and many are claiming it hints at the possible performer, reported Breathe Heavy.
The website speculates that the performer could also be pop star Britney Spears, based on a barely visible photo in a look book of possible performers that NFL players look through in the ad.
The Super Bowl Halftime show has been female dominated in the last few years, with Madonna performing in 2012, Beyoncé taking on the 2013 show and Katy Perry performing in 2015, but the presence of Latin stars has been severely limited.
The only Latina to ever take on performing at the popular football event was Gloria Estefan, who shared the stage with Stevie Wonder in 1999.
