Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 News: Second Data Pack Adds New Players, Kits
The second data pack for Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is now available as a free download, including new players, new team kits, a new stadium and new gear.
Data Pack 2 was made available for Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 players as of Thursday, Game Reactor reports. The data pack included 51 new players and much more.
Among the 51 new players added to Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 were Fernando Torres, Kevin de Bruyne, Julian Draxler, Jamie Vardy and Aleksander Mitrovic. Along with these new players, the rosters for teams were updated for all offline modes. All roster moves made until Oct. 19 were implemented into the game.
Meanwhile, a brand new stadium was added to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016. Konami recreated the famous Brazilian Estadio do Maracana stadium. The stadium features a brand new opening sequence, which shows the exterior of the stadium and the surrounding city. Fans are shown lighting fireworks and flares outside.
Eight new boot styles were also added to the game, including the latest designs from Joma, Mizuno and Puma. Two new balls from Nike were also added to the game. The Nike Ordem CSF and Ordem2 ball designs were recreated and are now available for play.
New team kits for the Germany, Italy and Spain teams were a big addition in this data pack, Konami said in a release.
The developer also added a new myClub friendly lobby mode, in which players can play a match against friends without using up their player contracts.
When players choose either the Copa Libertadores or Sudamericana squads, they will see brand new and improved entrance sequences.
Konami promised more updates in the next few weeks. With rosters always changing in soccer, Konami would be smart to release as many periodic roster updates as they can for Pro Evolution Soccer 2016.
