Sony has slashed off the prices of newly released PlayStation 4 games in conjunction with the recently concluded 2015 Game Awards.

Several gaming titles nominated for awards are now on sale on the PlayStation Store. That includes "Rocket League" for $14, "Tales from the Borderlands" for $7.50, "Life Is Strange" for $10, "Axiom Verge" for $14, "The Witcher 3" for $25 and "Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition" for $39.59.

The discount applies to both members and non-members of PlayStation Plus. The full list of PlayStation 4 games with their original prices is listed below.

The 2015 Game Awards aired on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Wii U and several streaming networks at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT on Thursday, Dec. 3.

Aside from handing out awards to the year's best titles, the event also honored unsung game developers. The audience were treated to musical performances from Scottish electronic band Chvrches and Joel Thomas Zimmerman or also known as "deadmau5." It was also during the event where the first gameplay footage of "Far Cry Primal" and "Quantum Break" were unveiled.

"The Witcher 3" was proclaimed Game of the Year, "Rocket League" won Best Independent Game and "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" won Best Action/Adventure Game. Head over to GameSpot here to check out the rest of the winners and nominees.

In other PlayStation 4 news, Sony's marketing vice president John Koller indicated on PlayStation Blog that the "Star Wars Battlefront" and "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" PlayStation 4 bundle will go on sale for $300 each starting Dec. 6. The promo is valid until Dec. 19.
