It's been a good run for EA Games this year, but the company isn't planning on letting up anytime soon. The group, who marked several milestones in 2015 including the much-awaited "Star Wars Battlefront", is capitalizing on their success and planning more incredible titles to keep the gamers even more satisfied in the upcoming year.

According to a report from GameSpot, EA chief operating officer (COO) Peter Moore spoke at the Credit Suisse Technology, Media and Telecom conference and revealed there are more iconic titles in the works for the EA roster in the near future.

"It's a little bit of an embarrassment of riches particularly in [fiscal year 2017], which commences for us on April 1, 2016," Moore said when asked about the company's upcoming games. "We've got some of our core franchises; a new 'Battlefield' coming up, a new 'Mass Effect' title coming up; we actually kick off the year with 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst', which we pushed out of FY 16 and into FY 17."

He added, "And we also have 'Mass Effect Andromeda' from our BioWare studio. And 'Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2' is shipping in Q4 of this [fiscal] year."

It's an impressive lineup consisting of some of EA's most well-known titles. Of the games mentioned by the COO, "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" is the first one that will be launched in the market in May 2016. Release was delayed a few months to offer the highest quality action-adventure game possible, according to the official "Mirror's Edge" website.

Meanwhile, many of the company's games are heavily under wraps at the moment. Developed by Bioware, "Mass Effect Andromeda" is a sequel to the lauded "Mass Effect" trilogy, but very little is known about this installment.

"This game is very much a new adventure, taking place far away from and long after the events of the original trilogy," Bioware explained in their official website. "You will play a human, male or female, though that's actually not the character you saw in the trailer (more on that later). You'll be exploring an all-new galaxy, Andromeda, and piloting the new and improved Mako you saw. And through it all, you will have a new team of adventurers to work with, learn from, fight alongside of, and fall in love with."

In related news, Moore also discussed the rise of their digital sales. In a report from the Examiner, the executive said, "In launch week, we're seeing somewhere in the low 20's as a percentage of overall game sales, those are direct downloads to console hard drives. We expect that to continue to rise and still believe in giving players choice."
