Charlie Sheen Facing Assault Suit, Ex-Girlfriend Scottine Sheen Alleges He Put Her at Risk
Charlie Sheen is facing an assault and battery lawsuit filed by ex-girlfriend Scottine Sheen alleging that one of his cocaine relapses may have resulted in him forgetting to take his HIV medicine and putting her at risk for the deadly virus.
Radar Online reports Scottine now fears that the former "Two And A Half Men" star's neglect in taking his medication as prescribed may have led to him dangerously exposing others to the disease.
She formally filed her suit on Dec. 3, and court documents reveal that the period in question covers January 2014, when Sheen allegedly admitted to her "that he had relapsed on crack cocaine ... that he had used crack cocaine at least three times that month."
According to the court documents, Sheen then "begged for forgiveness" and assured his ex he was committed to making serious efforts to gain control of his life.
But Sheen's often out-of-control lifestyle is alleged to continued, and "between July and September 2014, he became increasingly less responsible in taking his HIV medication as a result of his illegal drug use."
Sheen went public with HIV diagnosis during a "Today" show appearance with Matt Laeur last month, during which he also insisted he had never missed a dose of his medicine.
But in her suit, Scottine maintains there were various instances where she discovered he had not been taking his medicines correctly and she now fears it may have "put her at substantial risk of contracting HIV."
Scottine is also on record in asserting that she and Sheen had unprotected sex throughout their relationship. Another of Sheen's exes, Bree Olson, also claims that she and the "Wall Street" star had unprotected sex throughout their relationship and she now fears what the consequences could be.
Reps for Sheen have staunchly denied Olson's allegations.
