While U.S. Hispanics tend to feel optimistic about their finances, a new report suggests many could benefit from education about how their credit works and how they can better reach financial benchmarks. Approximately 53 percent reported feeling that they might not know enough about credit and borrowing decisions.
Nearly 60 percent of college-educated Hispanics surveyed in a new report indicated that it's difficult for them to save for the future and cover personal expenses.
Nearly 75 percent of surveyed Hispanics indicated that they wished they had learned more about managing finances when they were growing up, compared to 61 percent of U.S. investors overall. Also, 45 percent said, "no one ever taught them about savings and investing."
