Parts of the Hoover Dam caught on fire, following the explosion of an electrical transformer, according to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. No injuries were recorded, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Hoover Dam is now just 37 percent full, and is headed for a first-ever official water shortage and continues to sink toward its lowest level since it was filled.
