As many have expected, the fleet of Russian warships that recently visited Cuba and conducted military exercises near US waters have arrived in Russia's ally, Venezuela.
The warships sent by Russia to the Caribbean for military exercises have finally left the port of Havana and could possibly head to Russian ally Venezuela next.
Just one day after warships from Russia, including a nuclear submarine, arrived in the port of Havana in Cuba, a US attack submarine also arrived on the island, in Guantanamo Bay.
Four Russian naval vessels, including a nuclear sub, have arrived in Havana Bay near Florida. Russia says they have advanced weapons, while Cuba confirms there were no nuclear arms.
Amid rising tensions between Moscow and Washington, Russia is sending several warships for naval drills in the Caribbean alongside its allies, Venezuela and Cuba.
