A group of congressional Democrats, led by Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Rep. Jesus Chuy Garcia, has reintroduced a bill decriminalizing illegal border crossings. Pramila Jayapal is a member of the so-called "Squad," a group of progressive House Democrats.
