U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy cautioned the public that the "next few weeks" would be tough as the COVID cases from the Omicron variant continue to surge.
The Senate has confirmed Dr. Vivek Murthy to be President Joe Biden's surgeon general. He has already served as surgeon general under the Obama administration.
