Making films on real life events or real life people is always a challenge, especially if the events are not well documented in the media, there is a lack of footage of the real life person or the person involved in the event is dead.
While Riggen's intentions are honest, "The 33" misses on a few angles. While the final moments of the film are some of the most tense and riveting, it might not be the fulfilling experience of the recent event as some might hope.
