One thing that "The Daily Show" has always done very well was take the cold hard truth and relentlessly mock its absurdities. That is apparently what has happened when Jeb Bush's presidential campaign offered to stop spamming e-mail accounts asking for money.

On Tuesday night, Noah opened up his monologue with yet another breakdown of the Republican field of comical fodder. He titled the segment "The Ups and Downs of the Republican Candidates" that featured those running for the nomination that are closer to last place.

Noah began by going over Ben Carson's recent declining poll numbers. He said Carson was not excited either way when he is leading or trailing. Of course Noah capitalized on that moment and did his Carson impression, even working the word "orgasm" into the monologue.

He then went over to John Kasich, who apparently is holding his campaign events at small venues, one of which was an obscure coffeehouse. But the real news of the segment was that he had to cancel that event due to a "scheduling conflict."

But the real meat of the monologue came at the end of the segment when Noah reported on the former front-runner for the Republican nomination, Jeb Bush, who is now only polling at around 4 percent.

The story was about how his campaign has already blown through $60 million dollars and they have nothing to show for it. So now, they are spamming people's e-mail accounts asking for money, which has people a little sick of it.

In a news report that Noah played on the segment, Bush released a statement saying that he would stop spamming people's e-mails asking for money. But there was a catch -- they had to donate $25 to his campaign.
