Chris Brown Accused of Causing Daughter's Asthma With Weed Smoke
Chris Brown was accused of putting his young daughter in danger by exposing her to secondhand smoke from his habitual use of weed.
TMZ reports the girl's mother Nia Guzman claimed 1-year-old daughter Royalty now suffers from asthma. She added the condition is almost certainly a result of being around her negligent father.
Guzman said typically when Royalty returns from a visit with Brown she reeks of smoke. In legal documents, she further alleged that she's convinced the "Loyal" singer has suffered a drug relapse and has a particular substance abuse problem with sizzurp, a mixture of cough syrup, candy and soda.
As a result, Guzman argued, Brown's visits with the child should be legally restricted and he should be required to employ a full-time nanny whenever his daughter is in his custody. The mother was also pushing for the judge to require him to submit to random drug tests, and prohibit him from either drinking or smoking whenever their child is around.
In addition, Guzman also sought to have monthly child support payments increased by more than 600 percent, from $2,500 a month to a staggering $16,000.
The 26-year-old Brown infamously split with longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran after news that he has fathered a child with Guzman became public fodder. After a public feud on social media, Brown seemed intent on winning back his ex, but the two now appear to have gone their separate ways for good.
In the aftermath, Brown has admitted to making mistakes. He recently insisted he is now ready and looking for his "soul mate."
Brown has also previously dated Rihanna off and on. CNN reported those two also infamously split in 2008 after he physically attacked her, leading to him being placed on probation. The two later reconciled, but again went their separate ways after just a few months of being together.
