UPDATE: ‘Deadpool 2’ 4 more actresses joins the list for Domino
All eyes and ears for Deadpool update! As it has been one of the biggest and successful movies in 2016. There hasn't been any announcement about the release date of 'Deadpool 2'. The production team and the director of the film, Tom Miller are now looking for a female celebrity to cast the role of Domino and testing has begun for the character.
The actresses that possibly play the role includes; Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane), Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Sylvia Hoeks (Oerspel), Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond). These actresses have tested or going to test for the role.
There are four more actresses listed on the shortlist for the testing of the role of Domino. Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire), Eve Hewson (The Knick), Ruby Rose (Orange is the new Black) and Kelly Rohrbach (Baywatch), according to Collider.
Domino's character is like Deadpool, a mutant, and a mercenary. As her comics, history found her that she has a close relationship with the mutant Cable, a frequent and frenemy of Deadpool. The history tells that she is a confidante, partner, and a lover to Cable. She has the ability to begin random telekinetic acts that would turn probabilities in her favors, Movie Web reports.
Previously confirmed in the post-credit sequence that Cable will appear in 'Deadpool 2' and so, the presence of Domino in the movie is expected. It was assumed that Miller and Co. already found their actor to get play Cable's character in the movie as they go along with finding who can play the character of Domino.
Deadpool is an R-rated Superhero movie that debuted back in February, it only has a $132 million on their opening week but the film grosses to $782.6 million.
The movie 'Deadpool 2' is aiming to start filming in early 2017.
