Criminal Minds Season 12 Episode 5 is set to air on November 9. The airing was originally dated November 2 but the play date was moved.

There was a speculation that the play date was moved due to the Thomas Gibson's fans boycotting the show. But it was reported that the original reason is the baseball World Series Championship game between Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs which is set to air in the same time slot. However, an 11% drop of rating among total viewers is recorded as reported by The Wrap.

Thomas Gibson had been really one of the trademarks of the show. The fans are still expressing their dismay through social media. The hashtag #NOHOTCHNOWATCH became popular after the character of Hotchner as played by Thomas Gibson was not seen last episodes. Others still hoped for the return of Thomas and claiming that Hotch was not even given a formal exit from the show.

It can be recalled that Gibson was temporarily suspended from the show due to a set altercation with the writer-director. Allegedly, Gibson kicked the writer-director in the knee, but a week after it was announced that Gibson was totally terminated.

Gibson was disappointed that he said he would file a lawsuit. More fans are disappointed too.

Will the show recover from the drastic drop of rating? For those who still follow the program what could be the interesting plot the next episode would give?

According to International Business Times, the next episode's plot will highlight the bullying acts which usually happen in the school. The episode 5 titled "The Anti-Terrorism Squad" is about a new case the BAU would work. They will investigate the killing of two families. There is one survivor in each family and they are both High school students. What would be the relation of these surviving students for the solution of the case?

We have to watch and see.
