Rami Malek has confirmed to play the iconic Freddie Mercury, Queen's prolific frontman, in the upcoming biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody." The 35-year old actor will work with "X-Men: Apocalypse" director Bryan Singer, who made the announcement on his Instagram account regarding the actor's involvement.

Malek is best known for his role as Elliot Alderson, a neurotic hacker in Mr. Robot. He won the Emmy Awards for the best actor nod, beating Kevin Spacey and Matthew Rhys.
