"Resident Evil: Vendetta" is a CG film adaptation of the "Resident Evil" franchise by Capcom. It has been revealed that the characters Leon Kennedy, Rebecca Chambers and Chris Redfield will be in the survival horror movie.

"Resident Evil: Vendetta" is scheduled to be released on May 27, 2017 in Japan but there is no news for its official release date in the US. According to PSU, there is a good chance for the film to be screened in the US because the last "Resident Evil" CG films made it through.
According to the outlet, Capcom has released official screen shots from the film and confirmed the appearance of the trio. Leon Kennedy, Rebecca Chambers and Leon Kennedy were the protagonists of the games "Resident Evil" and "Resident Evil: Zero."

According to GameSpot, "Resident Evil: Vendetta" is directed by Takanori Tsujimoto and written by Makoto Fukami ("Psycho-Pass," "The Torture Club"). It was also noted that the executive producer of the animated CG film is Takashi Shimizu, the creator of the renowned "The Grudge" horror franchise.
Hiroyuki Kobayashi also returns to serve as the executive supervisor of "Resident Evil: Vendetta." Kobayashi was also the producer of "Resident Evil: Degeneration" (2008) and "Resident Evil: Damnation." (2012)
"Resident Evil: Vendetta" or known as "Biohazard: Vendetta" in Japan will be set after the events of "Resident Evil 6."
