Mariah Carey Team has a Conclusion on the Unfamous Performance by the Singer; Dick Clark Production Reportedly wanted to Have a Viral Moment At Any Expense
Mariah Carey did not anticipate that her New Year's Eve performance in New York Times Square would be a total fiasco as the whole world welcomes the year 2017. The management of Mariah blamed and have reportedly accused the TV production of sabotaging her performance just for the ratings. The singer ended up walking off the stage in Time Square after the said technical problems the production has encountered.
Stella Bulcochnikov, the manager of Mariah Carey stated that the team especially the singer felt betrayed and attacked. The team accused the producer of Dick Clark production that they have sabotaged the performance of the singer. According to TMZ, sources close to the singer has already repeatedly complained about the technical difficulties ahead of the show.
The report further stated that during the performance, it is clear that the technical gremlins seem to be disappointing and upsetting the singer as she removes her earpiece and claimed about the poor monitoring, the producers could have been gone to commercial when she already took off her earpiece. Ryan Seacrest was interviewed and pointed out that Carey claimed that she is having a hard time to hear them.
The acclaims have been denied by the production on Sunday and stated that it is absurd, Fox News has reported. Bulcochnikov denied the speculations that Carey has been ditching her rehearsals, she stated that Carey arrived in Time Square at 2:30 but the stage wasn't set up until 3:20, the singer has been checking her microphone and in-ears and protesting that the sound coming in are choppy.
The singer was assured that it would be fine and definitely would work by the evening. But misfortune happens, Mariah left off the stage and walk over to Seacrest and do the ball-drop movement then off to go. The report further suggests that the singer was just ignoring the situation. Everyone has speculating now that the singer is lip-syncing but her manager again defends her and answered that the lip-syncing is when the singer doesn't sing at all.
She also claimed that the production wanted to have a viral moment at any expense. Meanwhile, the Dick Clark Production hasn't been giving any further comment about the New Year's eve event.
