The Undertaker Retires After 27 Years, End Of An Era After WrestleMania 33; Enthusiasts Said His Retirement Should've Happened Earlier
A lot of things has happened in the recent WrestleMania 33 aside from the sweetest proposal of John Cena to his longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella, The Undertaker formally signed off and signaled his retirement. After the brutal match between Undertaker and Roman Reigns, he formally retires after he loses and breaks character to hug his wife Michelle McCool.
On the recent WrestleMania 33, fans were like riding a roller coaster ride as they fall in love with John Cena's proposal to Nikki Bella. Another feeling of emotion as fans were left in tears after The Undertaker signaled his retirement after 27 years of his career in wrestling and end at 23-2.
It seems that there was nothing left for The Undertaker to prove during the WrestleMania 33 fight match between Roman Reigns. Everyone saw that he left his gear wherein he took off his gloves and have placed them in the center of the ring, TMZ has reported.
Many enthusiasts have said that his retirement should have happened a long time ago as it was already obvious. The Undertaker has taken a moment before getting up from the multiple punches, but when he get up, the camera panned around the arena and fans began applauding the iconic wrestler.
The Undertaker appeared in his classic hat, long coat, and wonder around the ring in darkness. He then started to take off his coat, his hat, and his MMA-style gloves and put them at the center of the ring as a symbol that he already ended his wrestling career. He then made his way up in the long ramp, raising his arm in the air signify that the still have won and slowly going down in the trap door, Forbes reported.
After debuting in the WrestleMania 27 year ago, he easily became one of the most iconic figures for more than a decade. Undertaker has made a legion of loyal fans even across the countries but his era has just ended. Jim Ross claimed that Undertaker's mind and heart are there but his body is not.
