'Westworld' Season 2 Confirmed Return of Ed Harris & 2 Hosts; Showrunners Revealed a Time-jump Arc & How Hosts Works and Powered
Nobody is never excited upon hearing HBO's president, Casey Bloy confirmed that that robotic cowboys and Indian tales, "Westworld" Season 2 is coming. The series will likely come anytime soon in 2018 and everyone are all hyped and thrilled to see what Jonah Nolan and Lisa Joy are in store for us after the epic Season 1 finale.
"Westworld" Season 2 according to Lisa Joy will definitely tackle the effects and aftermath of what happened in the Season 1 finale. Also, Jonah Nolan spilled that "we are not definitely picking up right where we left off." The further revealed that the show will not be place immediately after Dolores killed Robert Ford.
But instead, in "Westworld" Season 2, reports suggest a time-jump arc will be feature and will pick up some time later, EW has reported. Meanwhile, Ed Harris is confirmed to be a returning character and also shared that the production will be doing 10 episodes and he will be involved.
Harris also spilled 2 hosts' characters in "Westworld" Season 2. Louis Herthum who played the character of the haunting Peter Abernathy in Season 1 will be starring in the series as regular. Also, Talulah Riley, who played the character of the host who welcomes William in the park 30 years before will also be series' regular.
Even Harris vaguely confirmed the participation of Jimmi Simpson in the "Westworld" Season 2. He will likely not returning into the series as Simpson also elaborated that his involvement in the show is unclear. For the story details of the season 2, Nolan and Joy hinted that in the second season, viewers will expect much detailed about how hosts works and how they are powered.
Hosts' construction and power source were something to look up for "Westworld" Season 2. Also shared that they are closer to biological than mechanical but doesn't suffer from brain death, Den of Geek has reported.
Meanwhile, for the launch date of the series, many speculated that maybe the season 2 will be premiering in October 2017, but anticipated to be much further away. Casey Bloys stated that he doesn't in fact expecting a "Westworld" Season 2 until 2018. Bloys suspects that the production will be pulling off the series because of how big the world is and what more about the shooting.
