Eminem's new single, "Berzerk" is making headlines due to high sales and projected sales.

"Berzerk," Eminem's latest single which was produced by Rick Rubin, was first teased in a commercial for Dr. Dre's headphones line, Beats by Dre. The commercial aired during MTV's Video Music Awards on Aug. 29.

Since then, "Berzerk" has been selling well. According to Billboard, members of the music industry predict "Berzerk" to "sell upwards of 350,000-375,000 downloads by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, Sept. 1."

These sales are similar to the first-week sale of Eminem's previous album's first single. 2010's Recovery's, first single, "Not Afraid" premiered at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart. "Not Afraid" garnered 379,000 downloads in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The success of "Not Afraid" eventually led to the success of Recovery. Recovery debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it Eminem's 6th album to do so. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be released Nov. 5 and is expected to make a similar splash in terms of music sales.

In June, a photo of Eminem, 40, with rapper Kendrick Lamar, 26, was released. Rappers Royce Da 5'9, 36, and Denaun Porter, 34, were also in the photo. The image sparked rumors that Lamar would appear on MMLP2.

"I wish," Lamar recently said in an interview with Power 106, a Los Angeles radio station. "We haven't really gotten a chance to build in the studio like that. I basically just met him for a second, but if I get that call, I'm definitely running."

In other Marshall Mathers news, the rapper might be touring in Australia. Rumors have it that Paul Dainty, a promoter for Eminem, will release tour dates in Australia in various venues including Melbourne's Docklands Stadium.

In addition to Rick Rubin, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 also features longtime friend Dr. Dre, 48, as a producer.
