The card for Night of Champions slowly taking shape with another match announced this week.
Dolph Ziggler will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against the previous titleholder, The Miz at the Sept. 21 event. That is the third match added to the card, with United States Champion Sheamus defending against Cesaro while John Cena invoked his rematch clause to face new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar's contract has recently been restructured so that he could make appearances as needed now that he is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after defeating Cena at SummerSlam. The new deal increases his appearances and pay on a pro-rated basis with monetary terms undisclosed, allowing the company more flexibility to set up storylines. Paul Heyman has suggested in recent interviews that the WWE may only use Lesnar sporadically at pay-per-view events and few Monday Night Raw, in a "less is more" philosophy to add value to Lesnar's title defenses and appearances.
Lesnar may hold on to the title until Wrestlemania 31, with Vince McMahon looking to set up a main event with the champion against The Rock while Triple H is leaning for Roman Reigns to headline the yearly event against the "The Anomaly."
The Rock may not be able to compete at Wrestlemania 31 due to his busy Hollywood schedule, with the former WWE champion set to play the "Black Adam" role in the upcoming "Shazam!" movie.
On the NXT front, the card for next week's Takeover II seems to be set with NXT Champion Adrian Neville defending his title in a Fatal Fourway match against Tyson Kidd, Tyler Breeze, and Sami Zayn. NXT Divas Champion Charlotte will also but her title on the line against Bayley, while Sin Cara and Kalisto challenge the NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension. Other matches include Mojo Rawley vs Bull Dempsey in singles competition and in a Hair vs Hair match Sylvester Lefort battles Enzo Amore.

While Prince Fergal and Kevin Steen await to make their debut with the company, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will introduce KENTA to the WWE Universe at the live NXT show to air on the WWE Network on Sept. 11.
Former WWE star Alberto Del Rio, now going by the name El Patron, will make his debut for AAA Sept. 14. El Patron is teaming up with La Parka and Myzteziz -- formerly WWE's Sin Cara -- against Texano, Jr., Averno and El Hijo del Perro Aguayo in Cancun, Mexico.
Del Rio told reporters at AAA's "Ring & Rockstars" show that his WWE no-compete clause has been tossed out after being let go for allegedly attacking an employee who made racist remarks about him and is free to wrestle for the Mexican lucha libre organization.
"It is unconstitutional that you cannot work," said El Patron to reporters. "Thanks to lawyers and support of AAA, I can fight without any problems."
The signing of Del Rio, whose real name is Alberto Rodríguez, is a huge move for AAA, giving the organization a familiar face to United States wrestling audiences as they look to expand into the North American market via their new show "Lucha Underground" set to air on Robert Rodriguez's El Rey Network. "Lucha Underground" is set to premiere Oct. 8, with tapings taking place starting Sept. 6 in Los Angeles. The show will center around Blue Demon Jr, Sexy Star, Fenix, Drago and Pentagon Jr., Ricky Reyes, B-Boy, former WWE Diva Karlee Perez and former WCW star Vampiro.
The show is being produced by Mark Burnett's One Three Media company, which has produced "Survivor" (CBS), "The Voice" (NBC), "The Celebrity Apprentice" (NBC) and "Shark Tank" (ABC).
"The 'Lucha Underground' franchise is perfect for El Rey Network," said El Rey Network's vice Chair Scott Sassa. "It features good versus evil, intense action, humor, drama, great characters and most important great stories from two of the best storytellers in the business -- Mark Burnett and Robert Rodriguez. It's the perfect time and they are the perfect team to bring lucha to America."
