Looking to make it in Hollywood without all of the real-life risks? Look no further than America's favorite reality show sweetheart, Kim Kardashian, to serve up some glamour in the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game for both iOS and Android devices. Let's take a look at the game that is estimated to earn her a whopping $200 million in annual revenue.

First off, if you haven't met the Kardashians yet, they're arguably the biggest reality-TV pop act of recent years. They're Hollywood with all its pomp, in a nutshell, and the game allows you to climb the social strata of Tinseltown. It's simple, and apparently incredibly addicting.

First, you get to select the avatar you'll be making famous. You can choose between male or female, different head shapes, eyes, lips, nose, and more. Of course, can't forget the outfits. The game is a Kardashian product, so expect emphasis on glamour. You amass ridiculous amounts of cash and earn "K-stars" which you can use to further 'kustomize' your Hollywood avatar throughout the game.

Soon into the game, you have a "chance" encounter with Kim herself, where she commissions a dress and invites you to a magazine shoot. The diva herself doesn't make many appearances throughout the game, even though this kind of vapid rise to fame is loosely based on her own life. From there you tap the screen to complete a series of increasingly difficult tasks (not that difficult) in order to rise through the ranks from E-lister to A-lister. Everything you do gets you one step closer to the red carpet and that expensive new dress.

That's pretty much it. Don't expect a harrowing tale of rags-to-riches, but something more along the lines of a silver spoon. Either way, the game doesn't dress itself up as anything else.

There are in-app purchases in case you want to spend real money, but the actual game itself is free on both iOS and Android operating systems. If you're a fan of Kim Kardashian, you'll love this game. And if you're just looking for a simple and customizable way to spend your time, you could do a lot worse than Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
