After realizing the best way to try games without getting buyer's remorse was to rent them from Redbox, I returned my disappointing "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" game and picked up "WWE 2K15."

"WWE" games are tricky. Wrestling fans want a realistic experience but they also want to be able to master the game without learning tons of button combinations.

"WWE 2K15" is the perfect mix of a wrestling simulator and an old-fashioned button mashing fighting game. The wrestlers look real, the announcers are hilarious and the moves and gameplay are simple.

After getting home, I tried this game right away. I tried to enter an Xbox Live online game but there was no one in the lobby to play against at the time.

I quickly went back to the main menu and decided to try my luck against the CPU. I chose Brock Lesnar and had the computer select a random opponent.

I was definitely the bigger, more experienced wrestler but I still had trouble with the CPU. The match lasted about 15 minutes before I really started to pummel my opponent. Thankfully, I chose the options for no countouts or disqualifications.

The best part about the hardcore matches is that you can head out of the ring and destroy the announcers table. Jerry "The King" Lawler yells, "hey get away from our table!"

I was able to pin my opponent quite easily, but it sure was fun. There are tons of reversals, grapples and punches you have to either perform or dodge to beat your opponent.

When locked in a submission, the screen will shake and you have to mash your controller like crazy to either break the hold or get to the ropes to get out of the hold.

IGN.com is only giving "WWE 2K15" three stars out of five, but this game has a ton of potential. It will definitely look great on next-generation systems and the online play will be extra exciting.

Metacritic, a website that compiles ratings from experts and average gamers, delivers a 2.6 user score (out of 5) and a 50 (out of 100) critic score.
