The 2014 Miss Bumbum competition came to an end on Monday night, and though Claudia Alende was the frontrunner, she did not end up receiving the best butt in Brazil title.

Instead, it was Santa Carina's Indiana Carvalho who was named the winner.

"I did not expect to win, but of course I wanted to win," she said. "I was well prepared. I am very honored to receive this title because it represents all Brazilian women."

Carvalho made headlines in October when she tried to take topless pictures near the Eiffel Tower. She said that no one was mean to her. They just asked her to get dressed and asked if she was a Miss Bumbum contestant.

Carvalho was ranked No. 4 in the competition in October, but when the contestants were cut down to 15, she was in third place.

Alende was touted as a Megan Fox lookalike, and many thought she would win. Alende said she does not mind that she didn't win.

"It will be like every other year in that second place gets more exposure than the winner," she said. "Being second does not mean I will not triumph."

Third place was originally a tie between Goias's Ana Flavia Magalhaes and Rondonia's Rebeka Francys. The judges had to choose between the two, and they ended up choosing Flavia.

"I consider myself the winner because I have the best butt," she said. "At least, I have a real butt."

Some of the contestants have been known to get additional help, such as through plastic surgery, to enhance their assets. Flavia would not say what contestants had work done.

The competition was also not without controversy.

Contestant Bruna Valentim said that first and second place paid money to win. She said that the first-place winner paid $120,000 real and second place paid $80,000 real.
